We meet the full demonstrated financial need of many of our admitted student through a combination of grants, schemes and freeships. Each year, large number of students receive some form of need-based financial assistance. Considerable amount of budget is reserved by our Government as well as other sources to provide grant aid directly to students. This makes education very affordable to many of our talented students from catchment localities who otherwise might not be able to pursue an education anywhere.
For meritorious performance in academics, sports, cultural activities, NSS activities prizes are awarded to the students. Merit scholarships are provided to those students who obtain at least 60% of marks.
This fund is utilized to render financial assistance to poor students to meet partly or fully their
tuitions fees or to purchase books or similar other expenses
The students who belong to Scheduled Caste/Other Backward Class so specified in relation to Goa are eligible for this scholarship provided they have passed the last qualifying examination of recognized University/Board.
