The primary objective of the Equal Opportunity Cell is to oversee the effective implementation of policies and programmes for students belonging to disadvantaged and underrepresented groups, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), minority communities, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). Objectives

- To disseminate information on scholarships, fellowships, government welfare schemes, and support services.
- To address grievances relating to discrimination and recommend appropriate remedial measures.
- To organise awareness programmes, workshops, and sensitisation activities on equality, diversity, and inclusiveness.
- To facilitate a barrier-free environment and support students with disabilities.
