Strategic Collaborations and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs)
The Government of Goa’s College of Multidisciplinary Studies and Research (CMSR), Margao, has established strategic collaborations with leading academic institutions, government agencies, research organizations, industries, and social organizations to enrich teaching-learning, promote research and innovation, enhance employability, strengthen entrepreneurship, and foster community engagement. These partnerships provide students and faculty with opportunities for experiential learning, internships, collaborative research, consultancy, skill development, and knowledge exchange.
Academic Collaborations
The College has entered into academic collaborations with the following organizations to strengthen academic excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and professional education:
- Goa Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (GIPARD)-for capacity building, governance studies, public policy, rural development, faculty development, and extension programmes.
- Forum for Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship (FiiRE)-to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, start-up incubation, mentoring, intellectual property awareness, and industry-academia collaboration.
- Keyman Capital, Mumbai-to jointly offer the undergraduate programme in Luxury Brand and Retail Management, providing students with an industry-driven curriculum, experiential learning, internships, expert mentoring, and enhanced career opportunities in the luxury retail sector.
- GDP Foundation-for establishing the GDP School for Social Entrepreneurship, Skill Building and Applied Social Research, aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial competencies, promoting social innovation, developing employability skills, facilitating internships, and encouraging applied social research among students.
- Goa State Innovation Council (GSInC)-to foster a culture of innovation, creativity, design thinking, technology-based solutions, and entrepreneurship through collaborative programmes, innovation challenges, and capacity-building initiatives.
- PD Learning Curve, Mumbai-to provide professional coaching and academic support for Chartered Accountancy (CA) aspirants through specialized training, mentoring, and career guidance.
- Forum of Free Enterprise, Mumbai-to organize Elocution Competitions, leadership development programmes, public speaking workshops, and activities that promote communication skills, critical thinking, confidence, and responsible citizenship among students.
- Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship
College has partnered with the Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of Goa to enhance students’ employability through skill-based education and industry exposure.
Under the Chief Minister’s Yuva Kaushalya Yojana Scheme (CMYKPY), the College offers free skill-based certificate courses in collaboration with empanelled training partners. These programmes are designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills, improve employability, and prepare them for emerging career opportunities across diverse sectors.

To strengthen its commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, the College has established collaborations with:

- Department of Goa Gazetteer and Historical Records, Government of Goa-to undertake collaborative research and documentation for the preparation and publication of the Atlas of Goa, integrating geographical, historical, cultural, and environmental information through modern geospatial technologies.
Goa State Council of Educational Research and Training (GSCERT)-Samagra Shiksha-for collaborative research, educational surveys, and social audit initiatives.
